Intermountain Forensics (IMF) joins our partners DNAhawkshaw, the Pima County (Arizona) Office of the Medical Examiner, and the Apache County (Arizona) Sheriff's Office in announcing that remains located on October 24, 2008, in Vernon, Arizona, have been successfully identified as Lawrence Edward Knoblauch/Rockafellow. His cause of death is currently undetermined, and the investigation is ongoing. We would like to acknowledge DNAhawkshaw for successfully gathering generous donors to fund this case. IMF is proud and honored to facilitate these crowdfunding efforts to assist in providing names to the multitude of missing persons and unknown remains that need our help.
IMF would also like to join DNAhawkshaw in acknowledging this as one of the earliest unidentified remains entries into the non-profit Genetic Genealogy databases: DNA Justice (www.dnajustice.org).
